About CGF
The Common Ground Foundation was founded by Hip-Hop Artist/Actor/Author Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr., known as COMMON. More than 10 years ago, COMMON committed his time and resources to help underserved youth in his hometown, Chicago. Today CGF partners with several organizations, impacting hundreds of youth each year. In 2012 CGF will host its first annual Common’s Summer Youth Camp in Plymouth, WI, with incoming freshman from Chicago Public Schools.
